The Flickr site was interesting and I can see the value as a quick way to access photos and short videos. I found a few short videos that I believe would be useful in the classroom. They were on youtube, so I am not sure if i can use them publicly. It would be nice to have them organized on flickr and not have to search through youtube everytime-almost like a mini library on the desktop. The photo upload would be useful to organize photo's of important people in what ever time period we are in for a quick to the point exhibit.
I believe that the down fall would be checking the content for the students to explore the photos. You could add specific info on your blog for them to find;however, there is always that student who is an adventurer, and will explore where you do not want them to. Although that it how many great discoveries have been made, I do not want to be responsable (or accountable) for that students parents response.
